Asif Ali is a cricketer from Pakistan. He was born in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, on October 1, 1991. He bats with his right hand and bowls with his right arm off break. Asif is a middle-order batsman for the Pakistan cricket team. Asif Ali doesn\’t have numbers that catch your attention at the first-class and List-A level. However, one look at his T20 numbers reveals that he loves the game\’s shortest format.

At the age of 19, he made his first-class debut for Faisalabad in 2010. He has appeared in over 20 games, both in and out of the starting lineup. His average of more than 17 as a specialist batsman does not do respect to his ability. To make matters worse, he hasn\’t improved his reputation with a single fifty in nearly 30 List-A games.

But it was theatrics personified when he declared his debut on the T20 stage. He smashed a tonne off 59 balls against Multan Tigers while playing for Faisalabad Wolves, including 9 fours and 7 sixes. Before playing first-class cricket, Asif worked as a blacksmith, but he is now a domestic T20 star. Islamabad United recognised his abilities and was a key player in the PSL\’s inaugural title victory. He\’ll be looking for a better deal in the tournament\’s second edition after scoring only 34 runs in three innings.

Before playing first-class cricket, Asif worked as a blacksmith, but now he is on his way to becoming a T20 star in the local circuit.

Islamabad United recognized his success in the first edition of the PSL 2016, and he was a part of the title win.
