Azfar Rehman, a Pakistani actor, has decided to skip the HUM TV awards event in Toronto out of respect for the people affected by the recent flooding in Pakistan.
The actor from \”Noor Pur Ki Rani\” has asked that his flight and hotel expenses be donated to those affected by the Canadian floods. Many of Rehman\’s colleagues and fellow performers have praised his act, including Ayesha Omar, Nadia Afgan, Sadaf Kanwal, and Mehwish Hayat.

Critics of the HUM TV award event pointed out that although American actress Angelina Jolie had travelled to Pakistan to aid flood victims, several of the country\’s most celebrities had departed for Canada to attend the show.
