The scion of the Bhutto political family, which has had a major impact on the political climate in Pakistan, is well-known politician Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), which was established in 1967 by the late Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Bilawal, the firstborn child of former president Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, was born on September 21, 1988.
After completing his basic education in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto relocated overseas to further his studies. He went to Dubai’s Rashid School for Boys. He continued his studies by attending Christ Church, one of the University of Oxford’s constituent colleges, where he earned a degree in politics and history.
Bilawal Bhutto is a member of Pakistan’s well-known political dynasty, the Bhuttos. He is the grandson of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the son of former president Asif Ali Zardari and prime minister Benazir Bhutto. Hakim Ali Zardari, his paternal grandpa, was a politician and a member of Pakistan’s National Assembly. He is the nephew of politicians Murtaza and Shahnawaz Bhutto on his mother’s side and of politicians Azra Peechoho and Faryal Talpur on his father’s side.
In his brief political career, Bilawal Bhutto has achieved notable prominence.

In June 2018, Bilawal Bhutto unveiled her election manifesto for the national elections. He assured the crowd that PPP will concentrate on carrying out a program to eradicate poverty. After contesting the elections, the PPP gained 43 seats in the National Assembly, making it the largest party in Sindh and the third largest party in Pakistan. According to statistics, he ran from Larkana (NA-200), Malakand (NA-8), and Karachi District South (NA-246).
A speech that will never be forgotten was given by Bilawal Bhutto before the Pakistani National Assembly. Observers welcomed his first address in parliament in general. During his speech, he urged Imran Khan to keep his word about eliminating corruption, addressing the water problem, and giving the populace access to 5 million dwellings and 10 million jobs while in office. He also referred to Imran Khan as the “Selected PM” in the address, a term that gained traction in social and political circles.
As Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto has introduced a number of noteworthy incentives. An effort to elevate ties between China and Pakistan, he met with Wang Yi in Guangzhou and declared that “Any Attack on China is an Attack on Pakistan.” In January 2023, during Pakistan’s severe economic crisis, he also made an official visit to Moscow. In an international forum, he spoke on behalf of Pakistan and denounced Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the crimes committed against the Kashmiri people, calling him the “Butcher of Gujrat.”

He pledged his unwavering support to the participants and activists of the “Aurat March,” who are fighting for the protection of their actual and rightful rights under the Pakistani constitution.
