Chinese flying car makes first public flight in Dubai

The first public flight of a flying car created by Chinese electronic vehicle manufacturer Xpeng Inc (9868. HK) took place in the United Arab Emirates as the business attempted to introduce the electric aircraft to global markets.

A two-seater electric VTOL aircraft, the X2 is propelled by eight propellers, two located in each corner of the craft.

The vehicle manufacturer hailed Monday\’s 90-minute, uncrewed test flight in Dubai as \”an essential base for the future generation of flying automobiles.\”
