Ghee, Cooking Oil Prices Go up to Rs. 213 Per KG at Utility Stores

The federal government of Pakistan has increased Ghee, Cooking Oil Prices Go up to Rs. 213  litre and kilogramme, respectively.

With all of this rapid spike in the pricing of various kitchen supplies, the prices of various companies\’ cooking oil and ghee have dramatically increased, according to records in the local newspaper.

The country has received a Price Increase Notification, and the new pricing will take effect on June 1st.

The cost of a five-litre tin of Dalda cooking oil has increased from Rs 2,105 to Rs 2,655. While the cost of cooking oil from other firms has also increased due to inflation.

Following the unprecedented spike in fuel cost in the local market, the cost of other culinary items has also skyrocketed.

Chicken meat, vegetables, fresh milk, yoghurt, sugar, flour, grocery and confectionary items, and other non-essential commodities have all seen major price increases.

Customers protest the price increases, claiming that these things are simply expensive due to the lower revenue production.
