This plan aims to provide the government with the ability to lease electric bikes to its employees. E-bikes have the potential to lessen reliance on pricey fuel and support urban environmental preservation, as noted by Murad.
Murad expressed the importance of an electric vehicle policy and noted that Pakistan could be able to gain a significant market share in the world for EVs if incentives were provided for the production of electric vehicles.
He characterized e-bikes as an affordable and greener alternative to traditional modes of transportation.
The minister also outlined current initiatives aimed at reducing the threat posed by cars that emit smoke, demonstrating the government’s dedication to protecting the environment.
