According to ARY News, a squad from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made up of 30 to 40 officers went to the coffee shop where the journalist was seated with several pals and took Ghulam Hussain to prison.

A well-known journalist, Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain, participates in the ARY News programme \”The Reporters,\” where he and the bureau chief for the Islamabad bureau of the network, Khawar Ghumman, evaluate political developments and current affairs. His son corroborated the news of his arrest, telling ARY News that FIA agents detained Ghulam Hussain from a coffee shop close to his Lahore home in connection with an extremely old case.
