PTI announces countrywide protests against Imran Khan’s possible arrest
Zaman Park continues to have a large police presence.
According to reports, thousands of PTI employees, including women, children, and the party’s top leadership, responded to the appeal made via PTI’s official Twitter accounts by arriving at Zaman Park.
Following the development, PTI Chairman Imran Khan urged his team to continue fighting for the “rule of law,” to ensure they do so no matter what, and to demonstrate in public.
“The police have come out to arrest me, and they think that if Imran Khan goes to jail, then the people will sleep, but you have to prove it wrong,” PTI Chairman Imran Khan remarked.
He continued by saying that you must stand up for your freedom and rights to go. You must demonstrate that this country will still struggle even if Imran Khan is murdered or sent to prison.
