Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the tourism minister, welcomed Messi and sent a message on Twitter.
“I am happy to welcome Saudi Tourism Ambassador Lionel Messi and his family on his second vacation in Saudi Arabia. We are happy to share our authentic Saudi welcome with you all,” he said.
Football legend Lionel Messi expressed his excitement for his impending trip by posting a photo of date palm orchards on his Instagram account before his second visit to Saudi Arabia.
After exploring historic Jeddah and taking in the Red Sea on his initial trip, Messi was named the official brand ambassador of the Saudi Tourism Authority in May 2022. He is scheduled to discover further tourist attractions in the Kingdom during his visit.
