Orange Train Lahore: The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has been running the orange train, one of Pakistan’s first driverless trains. Through the cooperative partnership between the governments of Pakistan and China, the service was run in Lahore in May 2014. The train was officially opened on October 25, 2020, after six years after the hard effort that went into it.

Schedule of the Orange Train

The train runs continuously for 16 hours with a 2-minute gap between each station. The first train leaves at 7:30 in the morning, while the last one leaves at 11:00 at night.

Ticket Price of Orange Train

Since each ticket will only cost PKR 40, the pricing is incredibly reasonable for everyone. There are, however, limited discounts available for seniors, working women, and students. Additionally, they might soon make it free for seniors.

How to Get the Orange Train Ticket?

  • Getting a ticket is very easy.
  • As the passengers are required to go to their nearby station and visit the ticket counter.
  • Pay PKR 40 for the ticket and get the token.
