The Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that Dost Muhammad Mazari\’s decision on the election of the Punjab chief minister was invalid and that Pervaiz Elahi will take its place as the next chief minister.

After the hearing on the Punjab CM case was over, the decision was made by a three-member panel. Consisting of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial and Justices Ijazul Ahsan and Munib Akhtar.

The Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman was also mandate by the supreme court to give Elahi the oat at 11:30 p.m. The SC also annulled all of Hamza Shahbaz\’s appointments as \”trustee CM.\”

The court also told the Punjab chief secretary to submit Elahi\’s CM notification today and ordered Hamza Shehbaz to vacate the Chief Minister Office immediately.
