Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a record high of Rs 308,000 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 3,800 from the previous trading day. The price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 3,258, reaching Rs 264,060. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 2,986 to Rs 242,063. Silver prices also saw an uptick, with per tola silver rising by Rs 90 to Rs 3,440. This increase comes amid global market fluctuations, including a rise in the international price of gold to $2,944 per ounce.
