Peshawar Zalmi Unveils Playing Kits For PSL 8

Peshawar Zalmi has announced three new playing kits in anticipation of the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8 2023). In a video with Peshawar Zalmi skipper Babar Azam, the team unveiled the official shirts for the PSL 8 competition.

“Inspired by the contemporary and progressive nature of the brand Peshawar Zalmi is, the home kit is an elegant combination of tuscany yellow with a classic and complementing addition of black.” the franchise said in a presser. “The bold yet minimalistic design is reflective of the contemporary design philosophy practiced by Peshawar Zalmi.” it added.

According to the press conference, Peshawar Zalmi – The Yellow Storm’s devoted and passionately enthusiastic following sees yellow as a sign. According to the press release, “the front of the jersey features a mandarin collar in black, and intricate geometric pattern intricately woven and embedded in shades of lemon yellow, each clustered together, symbolising the connection Peshawar Zalmi holds with its fanbase.” The geometric pattern also becomes bolder on the sleeves, emphasizing the black base even more.

Details such as a yellow placket sewed up against the sleeves help to emphasize the silhouette’s personality. The jersey’s hem also features a sophisticated addition of fabric with a twisted linear play in gold. The authenticity badge is a crucial feature of the jersey.

The franchise described the Training Kit as a combination of dark values in indigo along with brilliant chroma of scarlet and orange ahead of the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8), which has also been announced.

The warm color scheme of the Peshawar Zalmi Training Kit pays homage to the city of roses and reflects its inhabitants. According to the media release, the jersey has a continuous textual print running over the base and a linear disturbance traveling down the sides and across the shoulders.

According to the franchise, the third kit maintains the minimalist aesthetic and includes:

• Markhor horns.
• The mascot animal of Peshawar Zalmi.
• The national animal of Pakistan.

Moreover, a standing collar with the word “yellow storm” further enhances the distinctive silhouette.

This wasn’t all as Peshawar Zalmi also unveiled a third kit for the PSL 8 tournament. “Peshawar Zalmi always has something in the pipeline and this year, the franchise has revealed the third kit, being the alternate kit for PSL season 8.” the franchise announced. “A classic, timeless, and elegant amalgamation of darker values of black and gold, the Alternate Jersey features a curated and meticulously sought deck of design elements,” it added.

It is important to note that the PSL 8 (2023), the eighth iteration of the Pakistan Super League, will start on February 13 and end on March 19, 2023. After the draughts were held last month, the PCB has already revealed the teams for the upcoming season.
