During the next two weeks, from April 16 to April 20, 2023, the Federal Government of Pakistan has decided to raise the petrol price in Pakistan. The news states that the petrol price in Pakistan has increased by Rs. 10 per liter and that high-speed diesel (HSD) will remain the same through the second half of April 2023. Yet, while the cost of light diesel oil (LDO) won’t change for the next two weeks, the cost of kerosene oil has increased by 5.78 rupees.

Petrol Prices From 16 April 2023
As a result, the price of petrol has increased to Rs. 282 per liter in Pakistan, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will remain at Rs. 293 per liter. Kerosene oil will now cost Rs. 186.07 per liter, while light diesel oil (LDO) will stay at Rs. 174.68 per liter.
Pakistan’s most recent diesel and petrol prices will take effect for the second half of April 2023 at midnight on April 16.
The notification stated that the government has decided to adjust the prices of petroleum products “in light of the rise in petroleum prices on the worldwide market and exchange rate variance.”
Except for kerosene oil, which saw a 2.56 percent price increase per liter since the last review, the federal government kept the petrol price in Pakistan unchanged.
