“Motivational Speaker” Qasim Ali Shah Wants to Contest Elections on PTI Ticket

Syed Qasim Ali Shah, a motivational speaker, and author, has declared his intention to run for office in the next elections under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) banner.
Yesterday, a video of Qasim Ali Shah pleading with Imran Khan to get him a ticket quickly went popular on social media.

Qasim Ali declared his desire to run for office from the Gulshan Ravi neighborhood of Lahore, where he was raised.

Imran Khan acknowledged handing Qasim a PTI ticket on the videotape to run in the elections. He said that he is seeking good persons with leadership potential.

 

The clean people should come to politics to lead the country instead of staying back.

 

Twitter users disagreed on Qasim’s eligibility for a PTI ticket, raising doubts among the Twitterati. As the motivational speaker might not be a “real” contender, one Twitter user advised Imran Khan to be cautious of him. “Qasim Ali Shah had never supported IK and PTI during difficult times. And it seems that he is a supporter of neutrals,” he stated in his letter. Tell such people “no.”
