Russian social media sensation sparks: A 20-year-old Russian influencer named Hasbulla Magomedov became well-known on social media for his distinctive appearance and hilarious posts.

He has a sizable fan base on several websites, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Hasbulla has also competed in several celebrity boxing contests and has received accolades for his sportsmanlike behaviour and upbeat outlook.

But his fans and followers have reacted to a recent video where he is seen hitting his cat. Hasbulla stated in reaction to the criticism, stating that he was only giving his cat a gentle reprimand and that people were exaggerating the situation.

In the video, he gently pulls his cat’s ear and then beats her softly before she flees and jumps into a box. Then, while reprimanding her in Russian, he slaps her head harder.

On Friday, he addressed the situation in a video statement to give the “whole picture.” Those who believe I beat the cat, pulled its ear, and other such things are mistaken; he said I merely gently pulled it. I know that some individuals are watching for me to make a mistake, so they may criticize me and say things like, “You do this, you do that.” Barksik was acting inappropriately, so all I did was tug its ear to correct it. “I cherish my cat beyond all else; if I didn’t love her, she wouldn’t be living with me. My favourite animal is the cat. Therefore I gave her a mild reprimand when she misbehaved. You’re criticizing me without cause.

 

On Twitter, where many users expressed their displeasure over his behaviour, the video sparked a commotion. The incident triggered a contentious discussion about animal cruelty and prompted inquiries about public figures’ morals and their obligations as role models.
