Teacher Arrested for Sharing Child Pornography: A primary school teacher has been detained by the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle in Abbottabad for disseminating child pornography online.
Khurram Shehzad, the FIA’s Assistant Director (AD), claimed that the investigating body apprehended the teacher after receiving information from the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL).
He further disclosed that numerous smartphones, SIM cards, kidnapping-related videos and images, a laptop, and hard drives were recovered from his possession.

Additionally, according to Khurram Shehzad, Mohsan Khan, a primary school teacher who was the suspect, was apprehended in Mansehra after a raid.
He continued by saying that the offender was transferred to a local court in Abbottabad, which gave the FIA a two-day physical remand.
The AD FIA claims that INTERPOL got in touch with the FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing in Islamabad and provided detailed information about the offender and the child pornographic material he had disseminated on social media, including Facebook.

He added that the investigating team hopes to make more progress on the case while the offender is being held.
Prof. Naeem Zafar, a renowned expert on children’s rights, cautioned this month that the 550,000 child rape cases in Pakistan each year are not all reported. Thus the child abuse cases covered by the media are just the tip of the iceberg.
