To increase access to high-quality education, TikTok and edtech startup Edkasa has announced a scholarship program that will award online study grants to 18,000 deserving Scholarships for Students in Pakistan. The initiative builds on the success of their #ExamReady campaign, which was launched last year.
For a first-of-its-kind year-long collaboration, TikTok teamed up with Edkasa and LUMS in September to develop a digital learning initiative to support online education and distant learning for high school students.

Since their inception, the instructional films have had over 665 million views and about 100 million video submissions from Pakistani students using TikTok.
By collaborating with LUMS, one of Pakistan’s top universities, the two will strengthen their relationship by giving students access to two months of free Edkasa study materials and an exam pack for the grade, board, or exam of their choice.
