She stated in response to the criticism:

“This scenario is receiving a lot of criticism. I have never taken criticism well, so at first, this bothered me. It astonished me. However, I sat in silence and considered it.

Nobody made me decide to become an actor on the day I made that decision.

“I found it exciting, so I wanted to do it.” I didn’t do anything improper during the movie.

As I began acting, the role I was portraying inadvertently contributed to the healing process. I began to find it enjoyable. I began to find joy in everything that came my way, including challenges.

According to Triptii, she was told by her parents that she “shouldn’t have done it.”

Triptii described her parents’ initial reaction to the scene as follows: “My parents got a little taken aback.” “We have never seen anything like this in a movie, and you’ve done it,” they added.

“I am an actor and I have to be 100 per cent honest with the character that I play and I did that.”

“They needed some time to go past that incident. But they were really kind to me.

“You shouldn’t have done it, they said. however, it’s alright. Naturally, as parents, we will experience this.

Triptii went on to say, “I assured them that I was not acting improperly.

It’s my job, and I don’t see any issues with it as long as I’m at ease and safe.
Triptii Dimri recalled the environment on set during the scene’s filming and said that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga continuously checked on her comfort.

“Sandeep informed me that there is a scene and I want to shoot it this way, but I will make it look aesthetically amazing,” the actress stated when she signed the project.

“I want to make an image reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast.

And I have this, too. He told me, “I leave it up to you; whether you’re comfortable or not, you let me know, and we’ll work around it.”

“So, I thought, ‘Wow, this is a crucial moment between the two characters,’ until I noticed the references. That gave me a sense of comfort.

Triptii added that the rape scene she recorded for the Netflix movie Bulbbul (releasing in 2020) was “more challenging.”

In further detail, Triptii said, “I think the rape scenes that I did in Bulbbul were more challenging to me as a person because you are just giving up, and finding the courage to do something is more difficult than giving up.”

“I think this was nothing compared to that scene in Bulbbul if I can get past that.”
