Usman Salahuddin is a Pakistani renowned batsman. He was born on 2nd December 1990 in Lahore Pakistan. He is a right-hand batsman. Usman Salahuddin has established himself as a leading member of the Pakistan Under-19 team\’s middle order, scoring the most runs in the team\’s one-day series against England in 2007. Salahuddin remained unbeaten in three innings in the subsequent home one-day matches against Australia, with a top of 68 not out off just 50 balls. Salahuddin might be his idol Mohammad Yousuf\’s replacement in Pakistan\’s senior line-up if he continues in the same spirit.

Career
under-19 World Cup
The 2010 under-19 World Cup saw Usman losing form and he tallied only 72 runs from 5 games. However, it wasn\’t the end of the world for someone who enjoys driving the ball up the field and yet enjoys pulling the ball away.
Domestic Career
He was at his best in the 2010-11 season, scoring 927 runs in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, including several runs in list-a cricket. As a result, Salahuddin was so chosen for the West Indies tour between April and May 2011. He made his debut in that series and played 2 ODI matches, scoring 13 runs and was never picked again after that.
Salahuddin moved to Khan Research Laboratories after being part in and out of Habib Bankside. Then, he headed to Singapore to compete in the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup with the Pakistan under-23 team. Salahuddin, Usman\’s father, was a left-arm medium-fast bowler who played first-class cricket for Lahore from 1973 to 1989. Therefore his son took to the sport like a duck to water.
