Youm e Ali Being Observed Amid Tight Security Across Pakistan Today

LAHORE — Today is Hazrat Ali\’s (may God pleased with him) martyrdom day, commemorated with religious zeal across the country amid tight security (Saturday). On this occasion, known as Youm e Ali , special security precautions have established to avoid unforeseen incidents. Mourning processions will travel along pre-determined routes and convene at pre-determined locations.

Additional security cameras will built in Lahore, and more than 4,000 police officers. And employees will assigned to the main procession\’s security. Loadshedding would not apply to the main procession path, and generators would be available.

The main procession in Karachi will begin at Nishtar Park and go to Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Father James Road, MA Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, Saddar Dawakhana, Preedy Street, M.A. Jinnah Road, Boulton Market, Bombay Bazaar, Kharadar, and Nawab Mohabbat Khanjee Road. The march will end at the Hussainian Imambargah in Iran.
