Over 2 Million Student Would Give Up Education Due To Floods In Sindh

As a result of its concern that more than 2 million students may force to abandon their studies in flood-affected areas, the Sindh government has declared an education emergency in the state. Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the Minister of Sindh\’s education and culture, stated that the province\’s educational system had sustained serious harm due to the severe floods. The government of Sindh is taking action to guarantee that the estimated number of students continues to include in the educational process. The Education Ministry is considering creating tent schools in the Floods In Sindh affected areas.

The Minister also urged domestic and foreign NGOs to help the government with reconstruction efforts because citizens who have lost everything will not be able to pay for their kids\’ academic expenses.
In a recent development, the UK-based group Saves the Children stated that more than 18,500 educational institutions have suffered partial damage or been destroyed due to the terrible floods brought on by Pakistan\’s excessive monsoon rainfall.

Over 670,000 kids have impact by the destruction nationwide. Millions of rupees\’ worth of books, copies, blackboards, tables, and chairs have also been destroyed. Regarding education, Sindh continues to be the province that is most impacted. Due to flooding, around 16,000 schools and colleges have been impacted.
