AIOU Announces Entry Test Dates for PhD, MPhil and MS Admissions
The entrance exam schedule for PhD, MPhil, and MS admissions for the autumn 2026 semester has been releas by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU). The testing will start on August 24 and go through August 28, 2026.
The official timetable of the university states that candidates for admission to programs provided by the Faculty of Education will take the entrance exam on August 24, 2026.
Winter Timings Announced for Punjab Schools
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities will have its entrance exam on August 27. On August 28, 2026, the Faculty of Sciences will administer its exam.
At 9:00 AM, all tests will start. Applicants may show up at any of the designated testing locations at their convenience, according to AIOU. Candidates must, however, adhere to the date that has been allott to each faculty member.
The tests will be administer by the university at its regional campuses in Multan, Quetta, Karachi, and Gilgit as well as at its Academic Complex on the main campus in H-8, Islamabad.
Only applicants who pass the PhD, MPhil, or MS entrance exam will be invite for an interview.AIOU has made clear. After the test and interview procedures are over, the university will decide the final merit.
