The military’s propaganda wing said that an encounter with terrorists in the nation’s mountainous territory bordering Afghanistan led one Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) brigadier to accept martyrdom.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations, Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was killed on Tuesday. At the same time, an encounter with terrorists injured seven other members, including two who were critically hurt.

The shootout occurred in South Waziristan’s Angoor Adda neighbourhood, where Brigadier Mustafa Kamal Barki ran into the militant terrorists.
According to ISPR, the late brigadier and his team bravely fought the hard-core militants during the encounter and sacrificed their lives for the country.
“Defence forces of Pakistan and intelligence agencies commit to reiterate and exhibit resolute resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism from every square inch of the country,” the statement continued.
According to reports, the late ISI official played a key role in eliminating the militants responsible for heinous attacks in Pakistan, such as the attack on the Army Public School (APS).
