Doors of Kaaba Opened For Pakistan Army chief as He Performs Umrah

Doors of Kaaba opened for Pakistan army: On Sunday, General Asim Munir, the head of the Pakistani army, visited Saudi Arabia for the first time on official business.
Gen Asim Munir, wearing a black jacket and slacks, may be seen leaving the Holy Kaaba with a few others in a video released on Instagram.

Who is this man in viral video from Masjid-e-Nabawi?

The Holy Kaaba’s doors reportedly opened for the senior general in the act of exceptional generosity. A Hafiz-e-Quran named Gen. Asim Munir prayed inside the Kaaba.
In another video, the Army Chief is accompanied by Saudi security personnel as he enters Masjid-e-Nabwi, the second holiest mosque in Islam.

The COAS spoke with Prince Khalid bin Salman, the Saudi Arabian Defense Minister, earlier this week to discuss ways to improve bilateral collaboration.

According to the Pakistan Army’s media arm, Gen. Asim will also meet with senior leaders of the Arab country to discuss issues of common interest, military-to-military connections, and bilateral cooperation focusing on security-related topics.
