‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ lands second highest rating on IMDb

Not only is The Legend of Maula Jatt dominating Pakistani cinemas, but it is also receiving a tonne of accolades on a global scale.

The masterpiece by Bilal Lashari and Ammara Hikmat has won fans\’ hearts and is now the second-highest-rated Pakistani movie on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).

IMDb\’s second-highest rating is \”The Legend of Maula Jatt.\”

On IMDb, TLoMJ currently has a 9.4 rating. On the third day of its worldwide release, the movie earned the number two slot in IMDb ratings.

The action drama stars Pakistani superstars Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in the key roles, premiered to raving acclaim from reviewers and filmmakers on October 13.

It is important to note that TLoMJ has one of the highest budgets in Pakistani film history, ranging from Rs 45 to Rs 55 crore.

Other supporting actors in TLoMJ with Fawad and Hamza include Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Nayyer Ejaz, Shafqat Cheema, Raheela Agha, Zia Khan, and Saima Baloch.

Under the production company Encyclopedia, Lashari has directed and written the action drama movie TLoMJ in the Punjabi language of Pakistan. It is a remake of the cult favorite Maula Jatt from 1979.
