CDA Develops Word’s Largest Urban Miyawaki Forest in Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) built the biggest Urban Miyawaki Forest in the world in partnership with a private company. The Urban Miyawaki Forest project in sector H-12 was officially launch by CDA Chairman Usman Younis and Mari Petroleum. Managing Director Faheem Haider.

Akira Miyawaki, on the other hand, was a pioneering figure in plant ecology and a Japanese botanist focusing on seeds and natural forests.

The Miyawaki Forest has reportedly been construct on 17 acres of land, according to the CDA. Twenty thousand huge seedlings of different kinds were initially planted, and more plantings will be added to increase it. In addition, a particular barrier is built to safeguard the plants.

Urban Miyawaki Forest in Islamabad

According to information, the private company Mari Petroleum assisted in the establishment of this Miyawaki Forest on 17 acres of land. More plantations will be add to the initial 20,000 large-sized seedlings of diverse species planted to increase the forest\’s size. In the same spirit, a distinctive security barrier has built to save the vegetation in this Miyawaki Forest.

The Capital Development Authority Chairman congratulated Mari Petroleum for helping to build such a sizable forest next to the CDA and acknowledged. Mari Petroleum on this occasion. He continued by claiming that Islamabad is currently a green city and will become much greener with the addition of 20,000 more plants.

While there aren\’t many saplings left to plant due to environmental degradation. Chairman CDA declared on this occasion that the CDA administration is working to build new plantations. The cooperation of the other departments will also help to achieve maximum planting.

He added that extra safety measures would be require to protect the security of the plants. Planted by the CDA administration because this is Islamabad\’s largest Miyawaki forest.

He added that the CDA administration is trying hard to plant additional saplings. Even if there aren\’t many left to be planted due to environmental contamination.
