WhatsApp Call Links Will Allow Users to Join Ongoing Calls

WhatsApp Call Links a feature that will let people join an existing call by simply tapping on a shared link, has been introduced by WhatsApp. Similar features are already available on other communication platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and others.

Users Can Join Current Calls With WhatsApp Call Links

The instructions state that the Call Links will function for everyone on WhatsApp, including users who are not in your contacts. But to join the call, the user must have WhatsApp installed on their device.

Since it already exists in various other online platforms like Zoom and Google Meet, the feature is not a novel one.

Within a few days, Call Links will be made available to all WhatsApp users, making it simpler for many users to join calls.

WhatsApp Is Down in a Major Outage

Any WhatsApp user can join the discussion by simply tapping the Call Link you created and sending it to them.

To improve security, WhatsApp is also testing protected encrypted video calls for up to 32 individuals; further details regarding the feature will be made public soon.
