Naseem Shah hospitalised due to viral infection

Due to a viral infection, Naseem Shah hospitalised in Lahore. The fact that bowler Naseem Shah would not be playing in the fifth Twenty20 International against England is a major setback for Pakistan.
Last night, the right-arm fast pacer was rushed to the hospital when his condition worsened, and he developed a high temperature from a chest infection.

A representative for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reported that he is presently feeling better.

A team spokeswoman said he wouldn\’t be available for selection for the fifth Twenty20 International against England in Lahore.

According to a PCB spokesperson, the outcome of Naseem Shah\’s medical reports will determine whether or not he plays in the other games.
