WORLD War 3 fears have increased after India gave the go-ahead to move warships and fighter jets to inside striking distance of China in the track of the escalating border conflict and bloodiest day in Ladakh.

the recent clash between India and China

At least 20 soldiers have died in clashes between Chinese and Indian troops on the disputed Himalayan border running along the Ladakh area of Kashmir. It is the first deadly clash since 1975 and the most serious since 1967.

Fighting broke out on Monday evening when an Indian patrol came across Chinese forces on a small ridge. During the confrontation, an Indian chief officer was push and fell into the river gorge. Hundreds of troops from both sides were called in and fought with clubs and rocks. Many fell to their deaths.

The Indian Army said there were casualties on both sides, and confirmed three of its soldiers killed during the clashes, with another 17 later dropping to injuries.

Beijing has denied confirming any deaths on its side, but blamed India of crossing the border twice and \”provoking and attacking Chinese personnel\”.

History Of The Dispute?

India and China fought a war in 1962 over their disputed border in the Himalayas. The war finished with a truce and the formation of a de facto boundary, known as the Line of Actual Control.

There has been an uncomfortable and fragile peace since, punctuated by skirmishes on the border, including in 2013 and 2017.

No official border has ever negotiated, the region where the clashes occur is oppose terrain, at high eminence and sparsely populated, running through the Ladakh region bordering Tibet, home to a Buddhist-majority population. It is a popular tourist destination.

The Main Reason Behind the War

Both countries have attempted to establish their claims to territory, by heavily militarizing the region. Both have built roads, outpost stations, airstrips, and other infrastructure, such as telephone lines. Troops send regular patrols along the disputed border. China claims more than 90,000sq km in the eastern Himalayas and 38,000sq km in the west, both of disputed by India.

What next?

China\’s govt-media wrote to issue a veiled threat to its trans-Himalayan neighbor a day after the bloodiest border row with China in 45 years left at least 20 Indian soldiers dead.

That China does not want a war with India is the nation\’s goodwill, not weakness, the paper use the occasion to remind India even as passions continue to burn at several points along the Line of Actual Control including Galwan. This valley had exploded into the blood.

The military gap between China\’s and India\’s strength is clear. China does not want to turn border issues with India into a fight. This is goodwill and restraint from China. But China is confident in the situation at the border. It does not and will not create disputes, but it fears no conflicts either. This policy is support by both morality and strength. We will not trade our bottom line with anyone

India\’s arrogance and recklessness is the reason for the consistent tensions along China-India borders; the piece said, blaming India for what it termed an increasingly hardening border stance on Delhi\’s part.

The state-sponsored media house pointed out two reasons why it thought India was becoming more and more arrogant and reckless. According to its analysis, all these provocations by India come from two \”misjudgments\”: (a) India believes China won\’t hit back or sour ties owing to increasing strategic pressure from the US; and (b) some Indian people mistakenly believe their country\’s military is more powerful than China\’s.

Conclusion

The Chinese point of view that how things came to this pass at the new ground zero along the LAC. India has been building extensive infrastructure facilities along the border and constructed forcibly part of the facilities in the Chinese side of the LAC. Clashes erupted \”when Chinese soldiers tried to stop their Indian counterparts from doing so,\” it said. It also sought to send an assuring message to the Chinese public on the issue, urging them to trust.
