The Punjabi government has Ban on Burning Of Siri Paye (animal sacrificed body parts) on roadways and other public spaces during Eid-ul-Azha.

Punjab prohibits burning \”Siri Paye\” on public streets during Eid ul Azha

The prohibition on burning Siri Paye was announce in a notification. And it will be in effect from July 4 to July 12. (third day of Eid-ul-Azha). The Home Department has also made it illegal to sell sacrificed animals in provincial parks and highways.

 

Authorities in the Punjab Province have warned that violators of Section 144 will face significant judicial repercussions.

 

It is important to note that Eid-ul-Adha will observed on July 10, 2022. And that the Federal Government has declare five public holidays from June 8 through June 12, 2022, in honor of the occasion.
