Pakistan increases price of petrol and diesel again

The federal government on early Thursday announced increase in the price of petrol and diesel, according to a notification.

Petrol has increased in price by Rs2.07 to Rs235.98 per liter, and high-speed diesel has increased by Rs2.99 to Rs247.43 per liter.


The updated prices are in effect from today, September 1 (today), through September 15, taking into account changes in exchange rates and fluctuating petroleum prices on the global market.
Kerosene oil will now cost Rs210.32 per liter rather than Rs199.40 due to an increase in the price of Rs10.92 per liter.
