A special team was established to look into the matter when unsubstantiated reports surfaced, and the accused has been arrested for allegedly raping a student, according to Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Faisal Karman. The Punjab government’s “zero-tolerance” stance for violent crime is in line with the Punjab College administration’s cooperation with the inquiry, according to police.
However, the management is accused by protesters of putting the school’s image ahead of student safety and openness, which has led to a great deal of community discontent.
