As the Punjab Police continues to deliver additional vehicles to improve the force’s mobility and field readiness, the Crime Control Department (CCD) is expected to receive a significant operational boost, officials told 24NewsHD on Saturday.
Police authorities claim that 118 new cars, including luxury cars and single-cabin and double-cabin pickups, had been bought out of the Rs. 1 billion budget for the current fiscal year.

According to officials, the previously used cars will be returned to their respective districts and units once the supply of new cars is finished in January.
In order to improve operational safety, they stated that a significant number of cars had also been purchased for the CCD during the previous fiscal year. The new vehicles will be made bulletproof in stages.
