Punjab Govt Bans Official Iftar Parties: According to a statement from the Punjab Services and General Administration Department, government departments are not permitted to host Iftar celebrations. According to the specifics, the decision was made in light of the ongoing austerity campaign to restrict how public funds are used by enforcing rigorous rules.
