ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – It was reveal on Wednesday that the Ministry of Interior had begun the process of renewing the passports of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to reports, the federal government has issued directions to the ministry after PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif took oath as the country\’s new prime minister after former Prime Minister Imran Khan was removed from office following a no-confidence vote.
The Pakistani High Commission in London has also ordered to renew the PML-N leaders\’ travel documents.
Nawaz Sharif\’s return from London has not announced by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). In a TV interview, PML-N leader Javed Latif predicted that the former three-time Prime Minister would return to Pakistan before Eid.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif\’s passport was refuse to renewed in March 2021 by the Ministry of Interior. Which was then led by former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
