40000 rupees cash incentive on birth of third fourth child: Cash incentives for families with a third or fourth child have been announced by the Andhra Pradesh government in India.

40000 rupees cash incentive on birth of third fourth child

According to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, families would get 40,000 Indian rupees for a fourth kid and 30,000 Indian rupees for a third.

Speaking at a public event, Naidu stressed that the state now wants to promote population increase, despite his prior support for population control measures. Within a month, further information about the policy would be made public, he continued.

The announcement comes after a previous plan to provide a second child 25,000 Indian rupees. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav claims that families with three or more children are now eligible for the incentive programme.

Rising salaries, according to Naidu, have caused some couples to only have one kid, while others postpone having a second if the first is not a male. He cautioned that the state’s dropping birth rate is a result of these trends.
