Ali Bilal died of Torture: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member who was allegedly assassinated by the brutality and violence of the Punjab police, has had his postmortem report finished.
According to the findings, which King Edward Medical University made public, Ali Bilal died due to torture and had physical evidence of mistreatment. The hospital’s forensic team performed the autopsy on the deceased employee last night.
On the other hand, a two-person Punjab Police committee has been established to investigate the slaying.
After gathering witness accounts and reviewing the CCTV footage of the incident, the team will submit the report to the IG Punjab in three days.
As the PTI sought to hold a rally in Lahore, the activist is said to have died due to violence and abuse by the Punjab Police.
When police used baton charges and shot tear gas at the party members, Ali Bilal was at the demonstration close to Mall Road.
Ali Bilal was among the PTI employees detained for violating Section 144’s imposition.
Imran Khan, the PTI chairman, has vehemently denounced the party worker’s death amid the Punjab Police’s shelling and torture.
