Former president and PPP Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari was admitted to a private hospital after his health deteriorated earlier this week. Today his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto revealed the latest regarding her father\’s health.
The senior daughter of the late Pakistani prime minister posted on Twitter that Zardari is dealing with difficulties from his post-Covid surgery and that his father is experiencing an unusual buildup of fluid in his lungs. She continued by mentioning a surgery the former president had taken in the province\’s capital to address his medical condition.

The flood relief operations were also not physically possible for Bakhtawar\’s father to participate in, but his children traveled to flood-affected areas to help. She also extended gratitude to people who voiced concerns about Zardari.

The 67-year-old was admitted to the hospital earlier this week when a medical staff under the direction of Dr. Asim Hussain examined him and carried out lung treatment.
Asif Zardari has been admitted to a hospital twice so far this year. He was sent to a hospital in Lahore earlier in February 2022 due to a decline in his health.
