Punjab Announces RS 1 Lac Cash Prize For Hafiz Quran Children Of Police Officers

The IGP of Punjab, Faisal Shahkar, has introduced the IGP Merit Certificate for the Hafiz-e-Quran children of Punjab Police personnel.

Details indicate that kids who are memorising or have memorized the Holy Quran would receive Rs. 1 lac under the IGP Merit Certificate, and a notification has also been released.
The notification specifies that the officers or officials have 15 days to complete and submit the form. The Punjab Police Welfare Fund would award cash prizes to the qualifying kids after verification.

The chief minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, had already declared that the children. Of martyred officers of the Punjab Police would receive free education.
He made this announcement at the \”Police Martyrs Day\” ceremony held in Lahore on August 4. Said the provincial government is working to introduce legislation for free education for the children of the martyred police personnel.

He asserted that the new legislation would also raise the compensation sum granted to the mourning families of the killed officers. Gave the families of the murdered police officers assurances that their loved ones. sacrifices would not go in vain and that the country would always hold them in the highest regard.
