The ICC Cricket Awards 2022 are at last here as 2022 draws close. The International Cricket Council honors and honors the top international cricket players of both sexes based on their accomplishments over the previous 12 months at this time of the year.

ICC has announced the nominations for every category; however, not all of the categories’ nominees have yet. Nevertheless, they have announced nominees for a few of them, including the prestigious ones that are the focus of attention worldwide.

In the coming days, the nominees for the remaining categories will be made public. On December 30, the nominees for the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year, the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year, and the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year will be revealed.
Voting procedures for the 2022 ICC Cricket Awards
The ICC Voting Academy and representatives from the international media will cast their votes while voting for the ICC Cricket Awards 2022, which will start in January 2023. Voting for the winner will be open to cricket fans worldwide.
The votes cast by both the fans and the official voters will be merged for the nine categories listed. At the presentation, the ICC will also present the ICC Men’s and Women’s Associate Cricketers of the Year, the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award, and the ICC Umpire of the Year Award.
Naturally, the ICC will also declare its Teams of the Year at its 2022 Cricket Awards, naming its top 11 players and including exceptional players.
