Starting in January 2025, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) maintained the same fees for the B-form and Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). A driver’s license, National Tax Number (NTN), bank account, passport, and mobile phone connection are just a few of the services that require the CNIC. Every Pakistani citizen who is 18 years of age or older is eligible to obtain a CNIC.
The ID card is also essential for education since it authenticates applicants for admission to schools and for healthcare since it connects medical information. It is also necessary in order to purchase SIM cards.
Those who qualify can apply for their ID card at any local NADRA Registration Center by bringing the required paperwork.
NADRA CNIC Fee from January 2025
Since the start of the new year, NADRA, which is a division of the Ministry of Interior, has maintained the CNIC fee schedule. The cost of obtaining a CNIC has not changed from the year before. A New Smart National Identity Card would normally cost Rs750 as of January 2025.
The executive category charge is Rs2,500, and you will need to pay Rs1,500 if you want it processed quickly. A copy of a family member’s CNIC and a birth certificate or matriculation result card are required for CNIC applications.
