PTI announces countrywide protests: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has urged his party workers to hold rallies nationwide as Islamabad police are close to arresting Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.

In a video message posted to Twitter, PTI leader Mussarat Cheema urged people to protest the government in the streets. Imran Khan is our redline, and we’ve warned them about it. It’s time to respond to them now.

We won’t place Imran Khan in the police’s custody, the woman declared.

Police and former prime minister’s supporters fought outside his Lahore home in Zaman Park on Tuesday as authorities tried to take the PTI leader into custody after issuing non-bailable arrest warrants for him in the Toshakhana case.

The news comes a day after an Islamabad court gave Khan non-bailable arrest warrants concerning a case involving selling goods he received from the Toshakhana.
