Sania Mirza, Aisam-ul-Haq Practice Together In Lahore
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza arrived at Nishtar Sports Complex Tuesday and practised alongside. Pakistani players Aisam-ul-Haq and Aqeel Khan, according to reports. He expressed his delight at the construction of an international class tennis court at the Nishtar Sports Complex.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is a famous Tennis player who has been ranked as the top male Pakistani player in the world. The 41-year old is the only Pakistani in history to reach a Grand Slam final. He achieved the feat on two occasions in the US Open, once in doubles and once in mixed-doubles, but could not register a win on either occasion. He became Pakistan’s most successful doubles player ever with wins at events. Like the 2010 SA Tennis Open and 2014 Dubai Tennis Championships.
It’s worth noting that Sania Mirza is currently in Pakistan with Shoaib Malik. She had previously travelled to Karachi and has now spent the last two days in Lahore.
The 35-year-old athlete said Pakistan has plenty of tennis talent. And SBP’s tennis stadium and academy play key roles in further Nurturing the emerging make and female tennis players. Her Visits to Karachi and Lahore grabbed the attention of the Shoaib Sania fans. In one of the videos shared earlier, she practised the tase of Karachi’s biryani.
