The police detained Sheezan Khan, Tunisha’s co-star and ex-boyfriend, on Sunday on suspicion of aiding suicide. Both of them had ties to the television program Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. After Tunisha’s mother accuse Khan of the incident, he was taken into custody. According to The Indian Express, Vanita said in the FIR that Sharma had dated Khan in the past and had been distraught over their split for the previous 15 days.
According to a police officer quote in the English newspaper, “Khan was taken before a court in Vasai, which sent him to police custody for four days.”
