The 16-story Portway Trade Center building in Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi has caught fire in a tragedy, and multiple fire tenders are working to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby properties.

The Portway Trade Center building, which is situated next to Nursery at Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi and close to the PSO Fuel Pump, was destroyed by fire, according to the facts.
According to accounts, a security guard was hurt when he jumped from the first level to escape the fire and was later transported to a neighbouring hospital for medical attention. Rescue personnel, firefighters, and rangers are on the scene, and traffic on the road leading to the building has been stopped.
With a sizable chunk of the building still burning out of control, the firefighters proclaimed the fire to be of the “Third Degree” and called in additional units. The Portway Trade Center, which had closed offices when the fire started, is said to have caused no fatalities.

Update: While attempting to contain the remaining building, the firefighters have largely contained the fire.
A fire at the Portway Trade Center building in Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, is currently trending on all social media platforms, with locals and bystanders posting images and videos of the flames.
Kamran Tessori, the governor of Sindh, has also noticed the tragedy and requested a report and a thorough inquiry to determine what started the fire.
