More than 10 million users think Elon Musk should step down as Twitter’s CEO

Elon Musk should step down as Twitter CEO: Less than two months after becoming the social network’s CEO, Elon Musk was met with opposition from Twitter users, who support his resignation in a poll.

Nearly 57.5% of respondents to the poll the billionaire began on Sunday night supported Musk stepping down as Twitter’s CEO. While 42.5% opposed it. Over 17.5 million people cast ballots.

Musk Says Twitter Will Charge $8 a Month for Verified Accounts

Musk stated on Sunday that he would abide by the poll’s results, although he did not say when he would step down if they did.
Shares of Tesla Inc., the electric vehicle manufacturer that Musk heads, were up about 3% in premarket activity and trading at $154.70.

The poll is the most recent development in Musk’s chaotic tenure as CEO of Twitter since October. Which has included firing thousands of workers and top management at a breakneck pace, wrangling over how much to charge for Twitter Blue, a subscription service, and restoring banned accounts like that of former US President Donald Trump.
